How does Hiyo Brand clothing fit?

Our clothing fits true to size. All our sizes have ranges (e.g. 2-3Y), so we suggest to size up if your child is between sizes.

If you’re unsure whether an item will fit, our size guide will give you a detailed breakdown of the measurements for each size.

How do I care for Hiyo Brand clothing? 

We recommend washing the clothing in cold or warm water. Tumble dry on low temperature or hang dry to maintain the integrity of the fabric as long as possible.

Avoid ironing directly on any Hiyo Brand rubber patches or any printed designs.

Where is your clothing designed and manufactured?

Hiyo products are designed in Canada and manufactured in China.

We work closely with several different manufacturers in China. At Hiyo, we are committed to ethically sourced materials, reducing the environmental impact of our production and ensuring safe and ethical working conditions. Our commitment to sustainability outlines the behaviours, practices and standards we expect from ourselves, but also from our suppliers.

What should I do if the item I’d like is out of stock?

Most of our pieces are part of seasonal collections. Once they are sold, they'll be discontinued. However, we try to restock popular products. If something is out of stock, please submit your email through the product page wishlist and if there is enough interest, we'll try to bring it back!

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express through Shopify’s shopping cart. We also accept PayPal, for those of you who don’t have a credit card or prefer to keep things streamlined. If you want to use PayPal and do not already have an account, you will need to open a PayPal account in order to complete your purchase.

Please note that all credit card/financial information will be encrypted, and will not be disclosed to third parties. Your credit card information will only be used to complete your purchase or to issue refunds/returns where applicable. All transactions are secure and encrypted and credit card information is never stored. All transactions are completed by Shopify or PayPal, depending on which checkout option you chose, and are subject to their Terms and Conditions.

What is the sales tax?

Taxes are based on the provincial shipping destination of the order.

Can you gift wrap something for me and/or include a greeting card?

Yes, please leave a comment in the note to seller section of the checkout and we can either provide you a blank greeting card or write a personalized message for you.

During holidays and special occasions, gift wrapping will be included if requested.

How can I share pictures of my kids in their Hiyo clothes with you?

Shipping & Returns

Do you ship outside of Canada?

At this time shipping is available only to Canada and continental USA.

How soon after placing my order will it ship?

We aim to ship all orders in 2 - 3 business days. During peak holiday or sale times it may take longer.

My shipment was damaged and/or missing an item. Who should I contact?

If you are having any problems with your shipment please email us at info@shophiyo.com and reference your order number.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be completely happy with your Hiyo purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we happily accept eligible returns to your original payment within 14 days of the fulfillment of the order (the date it leaves the warehouse).

We recommend trying on all items in your order before washing to ensure they fit. We cannot accept returns or issue refunds after items have been washed.

 We accommodate free return labels for any items that are damaged or may have a defect. All other returns require a minimal freight fee at the customer’s cost.
